The Journeyman Mechanic role is a full-time opportunity designed for skilled automotive technicians. You’ll maintain an extensive fleet of vehicles, including delivery vans and large trucks.
Because the fleet uses various propulsion types—diesel, gasoline, natural gas, hybrid, and electric—you must be efficient in troubleshooting and repair across different systems.
Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing engine issues, maintaining brakes (hydraulic and air), and working with electrical systems. The job involves physical activity throughout the day.
This position often requires operating both standard and manual transmission vehicles. You’ll use a wide range of power and pneumatic tools during repairs and preventive maintenance.
Scheduled shifts can include second or third shifts as well as weekends, requiring adaptability and a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.
